What kind of pump does the lobe pump belong to?

The lobe pump belongs to the delivery pump, which is a rotary positive displacement pump, also known as the rotor pump. It is widely used in food processing, oil production, daily chemistry and sewage treatment. The cam pump is mainly composed of the pump body, cam rotor, pump cover, sealing device, transmission device, drive device, etc. The cam pump is driven by the motor and is driven by a pair of gears with synchronous transmission to drive the cam rotor on the respective shaft to rotate synchronously and reversely.

When the lobe pump is working, the rotors that mesh with each other will not have rigid contact, so it belongs to non-contact core rotation, the number of pump teeth is small, the curve of pump cavity and rotor is smooth, the space is large, there is no dead angle, it is easy to clean, the space of rotor cavity is large, it is not sensitive to solid and fibrous objects, and it is very suitable for conveying high-viscosity materials. The cam pump has a good heat preservation function when conveying high-viscosity materials, so as to prevent the high-viscosity medium from cooling and solidification.

Operating principle of lobe pump:

The lobe pump generates suction (vacuum degree) at the inlet during the rotation of two synchronous counter-rotating rotors, so as to suck in the materials to be transported. The two rotors divide the rotor chamber into several small spaces and operate in the order of ABCD; When running to position A, only chamber I is filled with medium; When position B is reached, part of the media is closed in room B, and when position C is reached, part of the media is also closed in room A; When reaching position D, chambers A and B are connected with chamber II, and the medium is conveyed to the outlet.
